Philosophy and Motorcycles

Philosophy and motorcycles are two of my favorite things in life. This blog will be bits of wisdom gleaned from a misspent youth and an adventurous dotage. People who like/love wisdom or motorcycles, classic or modern versions of either, are welcome to visit and comment.

DEMOCRATS VOW TO END BLUES! In a bold but controversial move today the democrats proposed a social welfare and health care bill so comprehensive no one will ever have cause to sing the blues again. Fans and performers of blues music are shocked into silence. Quoted one famous singer "This really depresses me man but how can I sing about the end of human misery." He added "What can I write, the steak is tough and my nurse ain't pretty? That ain't the blues man that's just whining!" In a further news the democrats announced a new weather related policy taken from the popular musical Camelot. "The rain may never fall 'till after sundown. By eight AM the mists must disappear." Meteorologists remain skeptical.

Two days and I'm off to the Burning Man. Reports to follow.
