A theme song and news in brief.
I wrote a little ditty for all the people who partied to hard recently. It goes like this:
Detox Theme
To the tune of "Bringing In The Sheaves"
Sweating out the beer
Sweating out the beer
Checking into detox
Sweating out the beer
I spent all my money
Now I'm feeling funny
Checking into detox
Sweating out the beer.
(second verse)
Sweating out the beer
Sweating out the beer
Sitting in the smoke room
Sweatin' out the beer
Telling lots of stories
Of our drinking glory
Sitting in the smoke room
Sweating out the beer
(third verse)
Sweating out the beer
Sweating out the beer
Sitting in pajamas
Sweating out the beer
Thinking of a tale to
Keep me out of jail, oh
In those blue pajamas
Sweating out the beer.
(forth verse)
Sweating out the beer
Sweating out the beer
I promise to behave I'm
Sweating out the beer.
I promise to behave dear
If you'll bring my car here
Now that I am over
Sweating out the beer.
I recently returned from the Burning Man celebration in Nevada. I didn't take a bike out. My son now lives in San Francisco. I flew out and we rented a motor home. It was a very unusual event for someone my age and upbringing. More about that later. We also had a smaller celebration here on the shore of the Mississippi River.
For now I am trying to get some projects finished quickly before winter sets in. At this latitude that could happen soon. I finally got my T3 put together, painted, running and found that it has a bad rear seal. Rats! I need to take it all apart again and replace the rear seal. I like the T3 a lot but it has been crazy making trying to get to the end of the problems.
Luckily the Chrysler New Yorker doesn't need much. I have all the basics refurbished. Exhaust and a few little things are, hopefully, all that's left.
Be well, do good and keep in touch.
